PART TIME SALES / ADMIN ASSISTANT

Hours:

• To cover staff holidays
• To provide back up as and when required
• Likely hours 1 day or 2 x ½ days per week
• Saturday working will occasionally be needed

Duties:

• To assist customers choosing their interiors to include fabrics, curtains, blinds and flooring.
• Help to keep the shop tidy and presentable
• Mark up products for correct price
• Take telephone enquires
• Make sales appointments
• Liaise with fitting staff and customers
• Order processing

FULL TRAINING WILL BE GIVEN

Remuneration:

• £6.70/hr
• Annual leave pro rata
• Staff discounts
• Flexible hours

EXPERIANCED SEAMSTRESS REQUIRED

Required to work in our workroom within shop premises.

Must have experience and work to a high standard in the following areas:

• Lined and interlined curtains with all types of headings
• Roman blinds
• Pelmets
• Cushions

Must be able to work with all types of fabric and work unsupervised. To work alongside interior designer to meet quality and schedule requirements.

Must have good attendance record and good health

Hours:

• Min 30hrs / week (9-5pm, 1/2 hr lunch)

Remuneration:

• £9.27/hr
• Annual leave 4 weeks/year pro rata and bank holidays

FLOOR FITTER REQUIRED

• Good rates of pay
• Company van provided
• 5 day week 8.30am - 4.30pm
• To work in a radius of approx 30miles of Cheltenham
• To fit: Carpet, Sheet vinyl, Karndean,
• Floor preparation including DPM, leveling & fitting ply board

The successful applicant would join the Christopher James Interiors team dedicated to providing flooring to private and commercial customers to a high standard in accordance with manufacturers recommendations and trade practice.

The successful applicant will need to be in good health, have a good attendance record and committed to working to a high standard to ensure customer satisfaction. Good customer related skills are important.

Any additional tools required will be supplied.
