We offer a convenient shopping location and a friendly, no obligation "at home" selection service. Established in 1991, Christopher James Interiors expanded in 2003 to include Cheltenham Wood Flooring. This reflected the expertise we had developed over the years in supplying and installing real wood floors.

We have good supply arrangements with leading brands of wood flooring, carpets, and vinyl flooring including Karndean and Amtico. We can supply most makes of curtain fabric and many coordinated wallpapers. Our range of curtain poles enables us to offer a solution for most applications, particularly bay windows and windows with little clearance above the recess.

Our sales staff are experienced designers with a depth of knowledge about the products we supply and their installation. By carefully listening to your requirements, concerns, and aims we are able to offer the most suitable products, at an affordable price.

Our Team

Bill

Bill founded Christopher James Interiors in 1991, initially providing an interiors design and supply service for house builders’ show homes. In recent years Bill has focused on developing the flooring services division of Christopher James and Cheltenham Wood Flooring. With a wide range of knowledge of flooring products and their installation requirements, along with a sensitive approach Bill is well placed to advise on the selection of products and the floor preparation needed to ensure the flooring lasts as intended.

Clare

Clare joined Christopher James Interiors in 2003 during her last year at college. Her high regard to customer service, detailed knowledge of our products and their application along with an empathetic approach to customers has been clearly demonstrated and Clare now manages the showroom and carries out home visits. Clare is held in high regard by all customers who are fortunate enough to be looked after by her.

Adam

Adam is an experienced floor fitter with many years experience in the fitting of wooden floors, vinyl floors, Karndean, Amtico, and carpets. Adam’s attention to detail and care during the preparation of floors and the installation of flooring is second to none.
